It provides information on seismic events in or near France, based on recordings from the monitoring stations of the national research infrastructure Epos-France, from research or monitoring project stations, from stations in the networks of bordering countries (Germany, United Kingdom, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland) and from stations in the global networks.

The lists of seismic events occurring in mainland France, Mayotte, French West Indies, Reunion Island or in the vicinity of these areas, as well as the list of major world seismic events, are accessible via the links opposite.
